GET THE SUPRETTE LOOK AT NEW ZEALAND FASHION WEEK

Lead by ELEVEN Australia co-creative director, Joey Scandizzo, the ELEVEN Australia team headed to New Zealand last month to create your go-to summer do this season – super sleek and polished hair – for Suprette’s 2018 No Vacancy show.

To create the high-shine style, Joey and the team prepped the hair with Miracle Hair Treatment and Sea Salt Spray. Next, they used the Medium Round Brush and Flat Iron to smooth the hair before finally finishing it with Give Me Hold Flexible Hairspray. When flat-ironing the hair, the team set the heat to individually match the model’s hair type to ensure a smooth finish without damaging or burning the lengths.

Inspired by American summer road trips, balmy Palm Spring vibes and city escapes to NYC, Suprette’s No Vacancy show featured an array of designs from cool-girl labels including Bassike, P.E Nation, Status Anxiety, Bec & Bridge, Camilla & Marc, Aje and Sass and Bide.

With statement hues, bold colours and paisley prints, the eclectic mix of looks were streamlined with one, cohesive style – modern and sophisticated hair. “Sleek, high-shine hair is going to be a huge trend for Spring/Summer. It’s all about gloss,” said Joey Scandizzo.

The suited-to-everyone hairstyle perfectly complemented each summer look, making it the go-to style for the season. So, whether you’re channeling floral prints for a summer soirĂ©e, bold patterns for a night out or casual denim for catch up with friends, think super-glossy, high-shine hair.
